Our Future
Faithful Friends, Inc. is working closely with national leaders in animal welfare to improve the outcomes for people and homeless pets in Delaware and the surrounding communities.
We hope to combine a state-of-the-art Adoption Center similar to the Richmond, VA, SPCA, with a sanctuary, based on the model of Best Friends in Utah.
We acknowledge with great thanks the support and guidance of Faith Maloney of Best Friends Animal Society in Utah and Robin Starr of Richmond, VA's no-kill SPCA.

Can you Imagine?
. . . a place in Delaware where abandoned pets like me, who are scared and anxious, will be safe and have room to play until a new family is found or until the natural end of our lives? We can! We're Faithful Friends. We hope you'll join us in this endeavor. |
Next Steps
We are seeking land, preferably in Southern New Castle County near Route 1 and Route 13. This location will allow us to serve the entire state and be accessible to the public, increasing the chance of high adoption rates.
We will build a state-of-the-art adoption center where friendly, adoptable dogs and cats can live free of stress and fear in a homelike setting.
We will build a long-term sanctuary on site, where animals that aren't easily adoptable because of age, illness or temperament can live out their lives with room to run and play.
The sanctuary will be a center for "Healing Hearts" creating therapeutic programs for abused children, the elderly in nursing homes, and others who may benefit from unconditional love and companionship. |
