Big hearts are not a requirement but all of our volunteers have them! With so many areas where your time and expertise can make a difference, our volunteer opportunities guarantee a match somewhere.
From dog walking to fostering a mama and her kittens; helping replenish the food cupboard to transporting animals to the vet; baking goods for fundraising to building feral cat houses - there is a need for your help.
Here are some comments from a few of our volunteers:
- "I like to spend my time in the mornings and evenings helping to care for the cats. It makes me feel good to help." - Angie, Shelter Volunteer
- "Sharing my dog with people who don't otherwise have access to animals and seeing what a difference it makes in their lives is so rewarding. I also get to spend quality time with my dog while having this great experience." - Susan, Pet Therapy Volunteer
- "We both work full time but there is always room in our home and hearts to help homeless kittens to learn to become adoptable. It makes us feel good, that we are giving them a second chance at life." - Frank and Cyndi, Foster Family
