Donate a Kurunda Bed

Below are our critical shelter and clinic needs. Donations can be dropped off at our shelter during public hours of operation. Most items on the lists below can also be found on our Amazon.com Wish List (links above.)

Critical Shelter Needs: Dry Cat Food (any brand) / Canned Cat Food (Friskies Pate) / Clumping LItter (any brand) / Bleach / Paper Towels / Reams of plain copy paper / Cloroz Wipes / Gift Cards to Concord Pet, Petco, Home Depot and Lowes.

Critical Clinic Needs: Hydrogen Peroxide / Alcohol / 3x3 and 4x4 Gauze / Surgical Gloves (Sizes 6.5 & 7) / Exam Gloves (Medium & Large) / 22g, 25g, 18g needles / 1 & 3 ml syringes (with and without needles) / IV Fluid Bags - 500ml and 1000ml lactated ringers and 0.9% sodium chloride / IV Fluids / Sterile Strips for Autoclave / Sutures: 2-0 and 3-0 and 0 PDS or similar / 4-0 and 2-0 nylon.

Stock Donations

If you own stock, it can be more advantageous, tax-wise, to contribute stock rather than cash. This is because a gift of appreciated stock generally offers a two-fold tax savings. First, you avoid paying capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock. Second, you receive an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift.

Car Donations

Avoid all of the hassles associated with selling a vehicle. No haggling with a dealer over the trade-in value or waiting at home for the phone to ring or for people to come to look at the car. In some cases the financial benefits of giving overshadow the benefits of selling your used vehicle.
